Varenya Sastry

Twelve-year-old Varenya Sastry started his training at a young age under the tutelage of his father, Shri Anjaneya Sastry, and is currently a student of Pandit Yogesh Samsi ji. He has also had the cherished privilege of attending workshops and learning directly from the world-renowned Ustad Zakir Hussain ji in 2024. Varenya was also featured as a solo performer in the prestigious Festival of Tabla in 2022. He has performed in several local and international events both as an accompanist and a tabla solo-ist!
