Tejas Venkateswaran

Tejas Venkateswaran began learning tabla at the age of seven, training in the tradition of Indian classical music. He studied under Ustad Arshad Syed Ji, a disciple of Ustad Allah Rakha Khan and Pandit Shiv Kumar Sharma. He is currently training with Shri Vivek Pandya, a senior disciple of Pandit Anindo Chatterjee of the Farrukhabad gharana, where he continues to deepen his technique and understanding of traditional repertoire.
