Sagar has been learning the harmonium since the age of 6. He received his initial training from Shri Hemant Kulkarni and is now under the tutelage of Shri Kedar Naphade. Aside from harmonium, Sagar is also an avid cellist and is a member of the Philadelphia Youth Orchestra.
