Pandit Anindo Chatterjee is one of the most celebrated and distinguished musicians, revered worldwide as a legendary master of the Tabla. His remarkable musical journey began at the age of 10, when he was blessed on stage by the great Ustad Amir Khan Sahib, an auspicious moment that foreshadowed an extraordinary artistic destiny. Spanning nearly six decades, his illustrious career has been marked by unparalleled artistry, uncompromising excellence, and an enduring dedication to the rich traditions of Indian classical music. Today, Pandit Anindo Chatterjee stands among the foremost icons of Indian music, inspiring generations of musicians and music lovers across the globe.
Pandit Anindo Chatterjee has shared his artistry with audiences in nearly sixty countries, performing at world's most prestigious venues and festivals. In 1989, he achieved the distinction of performing at the House of Commons of the British Parliament as one of the youngest Indian musicians. A respected cultural ambassador of India, he has represented the nation's musical heritage across the globe. Since 1990, he has been recognized as a Top Grade Artist by the ICCR, All India Radio, and Doordarshan.
A dedicated guru as well as a celebrated performer, Pandit Anindo Chatterjee has nurtured and inspired numerous disciples across India, including his son, the acclaimed tabla player Anubrata Chatterjee.

Pandit Anindo Chatterjee has performed at the Rashtrapati Bhavan and also had the honour of performing for President Barack Obama during his visit to India in 2010. He is a recipient of numerous prestigious honours, including the Sangeet Natak Akademi Award (2002), presented by Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam. With a distinguished recording career spanning over four decades, he has contributed extensively to the world of Indian classical music through a wide range of acclaimed albums
