Aditya Ganesh

Aditya Ganesh hails from a family of musicians and dancers and began learning the mridangam from Sri N. Narayan at the age of seven. Since 2008, he has continued his advanced training under the tutelage of Sri K. R. Ganesh, son of the legendary Mridangam Vidwan Sri M. Rajappa Iyer.

With his late grandmother, Kalaimamani Smt. Ranganayaki Jayaraman, and his mother, Smt. Indumathy Ganesh, both leading their own Bharathanatyam dance schools, Aditya developed a deep appreciation for Carnatic music and dance from an early age.

In addition to the mridangam, Aditya has also trained in Carnatic music, which informs his sensitivity and approach as an accompanist. He actively performs and accompanies both music and dance performances throughout the United States.
