Vidushi Tulika Ghosh

A luminous voice combined with a sound foothold in traditional knowledge of raagdari and compositions, Tulika Ghosh has been honed by four traditions: her father and mentor, Padma Bhushan Pandit Nikhil Ghosh who learnt vocal music from the Kirana Gharana, from Pandit Hanuman Prasad Mishra the patriarch of Banaras Gharana and from Ustad Khadim Hussain Khan and Ustad Yunus Hussain Khan of the Agra -Atrauli Gharana and also from Pandit Jnan Prakash Ghosh of the Patiala Gharana. Since infancy having grown in the presence of all time musical greats, she imbibed the subtleties of music very naturally. She has performed extensively in UK, USA, Paris, Germany, Japan, Bangladesh and all over India. She has trained numerous teachers and performers besides playback singing aspirants.
