Sri Pabitra Pradhan

Initiated to dance at a young age, Pabitra Kumar Pradhan began his training as a gotipua dancer. He later studied Odissi at Nrityagram, in Bangalore and was further groomed by the Late Padmashree Guru Gangadhar Pradhan and Padmasree Guru Aruna Mohanty from the Orissa Dance Academy, and Guru Bichitrananda Swain.
He is currently a senior performer and teacher at the Orissa Dance Academy in Bhubaneshwar. He has conducted various workshops and seminar throughout India and abroad and has performed extensively throughout the US, UK and Asia and is the recipient of the Senior National Scholarship from the Government of India in Odissi dance. Currently, he is the resident Odissi instructor at Ishwara Dance Academy in Orange County, California and will be residing here until July 2026.
