Maulik Zaveri

Maulik Zaveri's musical journey began at a young age in the Washington, DC area, where he started learning Tabla under the guidance of the Late Shri Bhanu Vaidya. During this time, he began cultivating a deep appreciation for Indian classical music. Maulik furthered his studies by traveling to Ahmedabad to study with the Late Shri Shantaram More and continued his taleem under the esteemed Shri Aditya Kalyanpur of the Punjab Gharana. He was invited to accompany Yogi Hari as an artist on concert tours across Germany, Zimbabwe, and South Africa. This experience deepened his understanding of the intricate relationship between the mind, sound, and yoga, enhancing his appreciation for rhythm and holistic practices. Maulik is a practicing Eye Surgeon in San Diego and the Founder and President of Torrey Pines Eye Care. As he continues to evolve as both an artist and a healer, Maulik remains committed to making a positive impact in his community, one beat at a time.
