Aashray Harishankar is a Los Angeles-based composer, audio engineer, music producer, creative director, and keyboardist. He is a disciple of Sri N. Muralikrishnan, having learned Carnatic music on the keyboard since age 7. He is an MFA graduate of CalArts music program, where he studied and performed with Pt. Swapan Chaudhuri and Pt. Aashish Khan, amongst other widely respected artists. Aashray has collaborated on projects in a wide range of artistic disciplines, including film, animation, dance, art installation, podcast, and other forms of media and performance. Aashray is also one of the foremost performers of the ROLI Seaboard (a keyless keyboard) in Carnatic music and in world and contemporary music.
