Shyam Dore

Shyam showed interest in tabla from a young age and regularly liked to listen and play around with the tabla at his Thatha’s house. He formally started training under his grandfather, Narayan Kadekodi, in 2018. Shyam is currently 9 years old and in 3rd grade at Victor Elementary. He enjoys participating in a variety of activities including baseball, soccer and piano. This is Shyam’s first performance in the Tabla Festival and he is very excited and grateful for this experience.
