Sahar Farooqui Khundmiri

Since the age of 12, Sahar Farooqui has dabbled in violin, harmonium, and classical Indian music theory. However, it was sitar where she found a home. Through her South Asian heritage, she utilizes sitar as her medium of choice for self-expression. Sahar started playing sitar around 4 years ago and is currently learning under Rajib Karmakar with LAIMA Academy. She hails from Atlanta, GA and currently lives in Los Angeles with her husband.
