Pandit Omkar Gulvady is one of the most humble and exceptional Grand Master artists who has accompanied virtually every great artist in India and continues to be one of the most sought after vocal accompanists even with the new generation. His illustrious career has spanned more than 7 decades. Omkar's Tabla Solo's have thrilled audiences around the world and students continue to learn from him on a daily basis. We are fortunate to have Omkar Ji amongst us for the Festival of Tabla 2022. Omkar Gulvady is a senior most disciple of the great Pandit Taranath Rao.
