Dani Ekbote

Dani Ekbote has been learning tabla from his father, Shri Hemant Ekbote, since he was born, having studied both the Delhi and Ajrada gharanas. Dani additionally has a background in other forms of both western and Indian percussion, and has also been attending Ustad Zakir Hussain’s invite-only Summer tabla workshop since the age of 10. He continues to study and expand his tabla repertoire while double majoring in Astrophysics and Computer Science.
